LESSONS AND CHARTER STUDENTS

Batti Ranch offers private horsemanship, horseback riding, ground skills, and equine learning with Dawn Batti in Lincoln, California.

Offerings may include:

• Private horsemanship and horseback riding lessons

• Ground skills and groundwork

• Grooming and horse care

• Leading and safe horse handling

• Horse behavior and body language

• Communication and respectful boundaries

• Confidence-building activities with horses

• Social-emotional learning (SEL)-informed equine learning

• Life skills through horsemanship and horse care

Students learn at their own pace through safe, hands-on experiences with horses. Lessons are designed to build practical horsemanship skills while also providing opportunities to develop confidence, responsibility, communication, focus, patience, problem-solving, self-awareness, perseverance, and respectful boundaries.

Learning Beyond the Horse

Working with horses gives students real-time opportunities to observe, make decisions, solve problems, adjust their approach, communicate clearly, and follow through with responsibility.

These experiences can help students practice practical life skills that extend beyond the ranch.

Charter School Students

Charter school sessions are individualized according to the student’s experience, readiness, educational goals, and safety needs.

Charter families are welcome to contact Dawn directly to discuss course options, vendor requirements, scheduling, student goals, and available services.

Private lessons and charter school sessions are priced according to the type and length of the session.
